Karnival YaHijau (YaHijau Carnival)

In 2015, YaHijau initiated its first Karnival Yahijau series in Johor, Kedah and Pahang with more than 13,000 attendees, including local communities, youths, students and educational institutions, government agencies, key industry players and tourists. In collaboration with the Ministry of Energy, Green Technology & Water (KeTTHA) and the local state governments, the carnivals focus on efforts to promote and enhance the understanding and appreciation of interest in green lifestyle practices and green technology applications as well as promoting the importance green technology amongst the people, especially at the grassroots level.

Jelajah YaHijau (YaHijau Roadshow)

In 2016, YaHijau launched its first to 8th series' of the Jelajah YaHijau programme in Sarawak, which covered 8 locations (Santubong, Tapah, Sebauh, Kapit, Siniawan, Tarat, Sungai Asap & Lawas) with over 9000 participants throughout the roadshow from January to May 2016. The Jelajah YaHijau programme focuses on efforts to promote and encourage communities’ understandings and interests on green lifestyle practices and green technology applications. This is implemented through activities such as eco workshops, Green Runs and green-related competitions amongst students from various schools.
