Ministry of Energy, Science, Technology, Environment and Climate Change (MESTECC) has appointed Yayasan Hijau Malaysia (YHM) to be an implementing agency for the National Science Week Year 2019 (MSN) for Kedah state. MSN aims to stimulate the interest and cultivate areas related to science, technology, and innovation as well as to honour and recognize the public contributions and achievements in science.
MSN Kedah was implemented from June 1st to August 4th 2019 in collaboration with the Kedah State Government. MSN Kedah consists of 5 main activities such as education/learning, competition, sports and recreation, entertainment and the Corporate Social Responsibility Program (CSR). These include the demonstration of workshops, talks/briefings, various contests, exhibition by MESTECC’s agencies and other activities.
MSN Kedah has successfully achieved 44,464 public involvement from the community for its activities.
